GM Replacement Fuel Filter

I contacted gmpartswarehouse for a price on a replacement fuel filter for my 98 C5. The price was $13.09 which sounds really cheap. Is that everything I need? Do I need a seperate regulator or something that goes with it?

I have searched and I see people paying way more for aftermarket fuel filters.

What am I missing?

Does anyone know the VIN # break for '03s regarding fuel filter types?

Not sure what the fuel rail is. Is that next to the fuel pump or under the hood?

Ive seen the write up on how to change the fuel filter but I dont remember it showing how to change regulator...is it hard
