Hi everyone, I am pretty new to the car, I have a 2000 FRC 6 spd, it has 76000 give or take a few miles, My question is this, It drives and rides great, but I have read a few articles on the Edelbrock replacment shocks and that they would be a pretty nice improvement over stock and are somewhat easy to do myself. I am curious if anyone has any good or bad things to say about these, They are currently on sale online at a site for almost 50% off.
I do not race the car but I do enjoy driving her and want the best bang for my buck. the only reason I am really thinking about replacing the shocks is due to the price on the new ones being so good.
Hey Skydiven4fun,
Forget about the Endelbrock shocks & enjoy your car. There are way to many tried & proven alternative shock replacements for your car.
Good luck.
Thanks for the input, The car drives great now, "so if it aint broke".
I guess since I have completed everything I had on my list I just feel funny not spending money on stuff for the car.

I thought mine drove fine, but while it was down getting the diff replaced I had C6Z shocks put in. To my surprise, the drivers front shock was shot and actually needed to be replaced, only had 58k on it. I too didn't realize edelbrock made shocks for the c5
I too replaced mine with C6Z06 shocks which handle imperfections in the road much better (no hoping over bumps or wheel hop) but have been thinking about dual stage shocks like Bilstein or Koni for a little softer ride.
