Hood Lamp Problems
I am wondering what is causing this problem.
When I open the hood the Hood Lamp comes on until it gets about 6" from the top of its travel. As the hood nears the end of its travel to the most upright position, the light goes out again?
If I lower the hood about 6", the light comes on again?
Let go the the hood as as it moves to full open - off again?
I thought there was a Mercury switch inside the Hood Light Housing, but I never heard of a Mercury switch failing in this manner?
Any ideas?
