$0.51 rocking seat fix....
I'm not sure who posted this but it worked great for me.
I went to Home Depot and went back to the scrap wood area. Picked out a nice 8" long 4"x4" piece of wood. Wrapped it in a small towel and put it behind the seat and then backed the seat up to it. Voila no more rocking seat.
Since my car is out of warranty, I'm not paying G.M. to fix what they should have fixed at the factory.

I wonder if that will work for differnet types of people. How tall are you?

It won't work for everyone, I'm 5'11". You can always add to the width of the piece you use. You can't see the fix, so I figured what the he!!, I'll try it.
I'm not about to pay the dealer to screw up my seats.

Great I am 5'11" as well.. How far did you put it DOWN behind the seat. Was it touching the floor?

Wrap it in a towel and put it flat on the floor and then back your seat into it. It will touch the lower back of the lower seat cushion and the back of the interior compartment "wall". Enjoy!!

Seat rocks cause it's lifted up. If you adjust the height to lower all the way down and rest flat on the floor it wont rock. It's not comfortable either...
Just a temp fix till the dealer gets to it.

90 droptop,
I wish you hadn't posted this information - Chevrolet may revise their TSB and instruct dealers to use your fix.....

Any other C5 "Hints from Heloise?" I mean 90 Drop Top. :D
Maybe this could become a regular CorvetteForum feature column? :D
What happens when you sell the thing? Do the improvements go along, or do you return it to stock and take off the duct tape? :D

I will be adding the cost of upgrades to the car when I sell. The new buyer will never know it. :p:
