bad 12 pack

i just bought my first vette. 2004 c5 and it has only 6900 miles on it.... it has never had a cd in the 12 pack.....and i put its first cd's into it and all i get is err? any sugestions? is it bad or just opperator error?

The face of the CDs go downward, opposite of what you probably assumed. Try flipping them over.

Also, IIRC (it's been a looooooong time since I used the factory changer) it won't play burned CD's.

if it wont play burned cd's what good is it? my single disc plays burnt. nothing but good hardcore racing tunes and burnout prep music. always metal or paint it black by the stones.

My in-dash plays burned CD's but I'm pretty sure the changer doesn't. I installed an iPod interface and haven't used any CD's in a long time...
