And back on topic, did you ever get it to idle correctly? Are you sure the hoses are sealing 100%? I had the same leak on mine and it would only want to stall out on a rare occasion when it was cold out, once I fixed it it ran like yours is/was until I did an idle relearn. The idle relearn I did was given by Bill Curlee if Im not mistaken but it was different than the one he posted here. Im sure he can verify if there is more than one way to do one however.
he could probably do with the workout. nothing like the incentive of being able to drive your car to make you work your *** of

and im gonna try and find the hoses for it bc im about 99% they are but...

im about to have to make about a 45ish mile drive so perfect
I think its talking about something similar to city driving.

Default Thanks!!

ok so i did the relearn procedure thingee. its not hesitating or stumbling or bouncing or any of that crap like it was before, it's still ideling lower than it used to, but that could have been a product of this being a building issue. what does your ls1 idle at when its warm???

A stock, warm, LS1 idle is around 500rpm. It should be low, V8's don't need a lot of RPM to idle unless they have a lot of cam.

Glad the relearn worked, I had a feeling that's what it needed. I am sitting at 850 warm. What is "lower than it used to" exactly....

800 may be okay, depending on what you are doing when measuring. If the car is in park, that might be normal. I thought my A4 would idle between 500 and 600rpm but that may have been in drive with the breaks on.

that sounds reasonable. mines a manual so that idle is in neutral sitting at a light
