Default Adding C6Z51 Sway bars and bilstein HD shocks

Am adding C6Z51 Sway bars and bilstein HD shocks to a stock 2000 C5 based on threads seen here. What kind of changes will I see in handling? Anything I should also be adding to the car for handling improvements?

I would also replace the composite springs to the Z06 springs to get the max benefit from the shocks/sways upgrade...

If you go with the Z06 springs, then I would also look into wider rims and tires to complete the transition. A set of C5 Z06 rims with stock C5 Z06 tires would be ideal.

Keep your eyes open as they often come up for sale here on the forum for a few hundred dollars.....not sure on the cost of installation but I would strongly suggest that you take it to a pro. Take a stock Z06 out for a ride and feel the difference..

The C6Z51 sways alone will make a remarlable difference in your ride....
I did these on my Y2K and added 2004 C5 Z06 shocks which were pretty stiff. For daily driving, i switched to C6Z06 shocks to soften it up.
