I have not removed my Master Cylinder yet to replace it. Although it's in an '04, the odometer is only at 8100. I don't plan to track my car, but occasional spirited driving is not out of consideration. From all my reading, it seems to me that a major culprit in the sticky clutch pedal and hard shifting is the flow of fluid through the convoluted, skinny tubing from the M/C to the slave cylinder hose. Now my question to the Gurus of Corvettedom, can one fit the Tic Performance straight hose or similar hose to the stock M/C replacing the convoluted tube and hose? That would seem to me to fix a major stumbling block with the stock M/C. Possible or just another dream of mine?
No idea if it's possible or if it would actually yield any real benefit. FWIW; I haven't seen many issues with the stock MC on C5's with stock clutches. The main issue with the stock MC is that it is not sufficient to fully disengage heavy duty clutches (think stage three + twin disk).
Have you actually had any trouble with your pedal sticking or is this preventative maintenance? If you have had a sticking clutch pedal have you checked the condition of your fluid?

Yes I have had the pedal sticking since the cold weather set in although warming up the car (idling for 8-10 minutes) eliminates the problem. Clutch is factory and the car is not tracked or driven hard (in fact, it's pampered). Fluid has been changed via the Ranger method and remains clear.
