Heatmaster Shield
As do many other c5 owners I have a problem with heat entering the passenger compartment through and around the center console. In responce to an earlier post many said to insulate the console. I would like to hear from anyone who has actually installed the "Heatmaster Shield" ($369 from Mid America). Did this shield do the job on preventing heat from entering the cockpit? Was it difficult to install? Is it a good value? Thanks for any response.

1) It is too much money, but I got it because of the following.
2) It does work, both for heat reduction and for noise reduction.
3) It is a piece of cake to install.
4) It is especially useful for M6 cars with headers and aftermarket shifters.
