My car, 2000 c5 FRC, A4, 500+ rwhp, stroked with an A@A SC, just had a new transmission installed with a 2500 stall.
The stall is probably to small for most but my last 3200 stall i thought was bad as i had the same problems with it.
Starting from 15 mph or so i can roast my tires (Nitto Extreme 305/35zr18's) untill 3rd gear no problem. I have zero problems with the car after it gets going a bit besides traction.
The service act. handling, service trac. control is on always.
I bog down at take off's. I cant even power break above 1500 rpm (it bogs down) for a launch and that was with both stalls.
I removed the EBCM plug as I have read it helped others before but it didnt seem to help me.

Any help would be appreciated.
Have you tried turning off the active handling. Mine bogs and a start if its on. Good Luck
Sounds like your traction control may be malfunctioning, it may not be shutting off. I would also use a bigger converter.
mine behaved the same way after a bunch of mods and tunes the active handling wouldn't shut off, couldn't even do a burn out at the drag strip.....it would only turn off when in competition mode....couple changes with the HP Tuners re my trans programming and all was god again.....
Here is a test.
Turn the TC off.
Put the trans in 3rd. Hold the brake and push down on the gas. If it wont spin the tires in place go to next text.
Put TC in Comp mode and try holding the brake and pushing down on the gas again. I bet it will spin!
Well I seem to have fixed it so far. I removed and cleaned the Chassis Ground connector G-101 found in another article (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...tion-long.html) and so far it's working. Thanks for the help

Good deal. It's a pain for diagnosing when bad grounds make things behave strangely rather than not at all.
