Cartek vs RSD line lock?
The manufacturers can feel free to chime in here as well, as I haven't seen a comparison done between the two units.
There are no hard lines to contend with & the solonoid hangs nicely off the two bolts of the brake resevoire bolts.
In stead of mounting a switch or button in the car, I ran the two wires
with a male & female terminals & keep them tucked & out of sight under the drivers side console area (down by your right leg)
I keep a "stretchable lined thumb switch" with a matching male & female terminals on it, inside the console compartment.
When I'm ready to use the line loc, I pull the wires down a tad from the area by your right leg, take the flex lined switch out of the console compartment & attach the terminals together.
When connected, just close the console lid on the flex line close to the switch thumb button & it's right there near your right hand & shifter.
Ready, set, go!!
Switch looks Looks likes this.

Check out rsd's line loc unit on their site & you'll see what I mean
about how nice a unit it is.

I installed a RSD line lock last year on a 2003 Z06 with Headers. Overall nice design and came with all fittings, hoses, wires and switch. Took a couple of hours. Best advice would be to unbolt air tube and temporarily remove from header as it gave me much more room to work. RSD needs to update their directions as they were for old design and makes it somewhat confusing as new solinoid is rotated differently on bracket. Once I figured out how lines should be routed the rest was easy. I liked the fact that the hoses came with the high temp covering already in place. They also use a B&M solinoid. I mounted the switch on about 12" of wire and wrapped it so that the wire is somewhat stiff and have it in the center console. When I'm ready to use it I open the center console and pull the switch and wire up. I can then close the console cover.
Good Luck
