A few days back I posted about check engine light, well put the Halltech screen in got everything put back together and now its acting like thr TOS is bad. What can go bad on the TPS? Both plugs look fine. Can the plastic piece that bolts to the TB go bad? The reason I know its the TPS is I once fired it up and forgot to plug the TPS in, and this is what its doing know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Didnt have time to pull the codes, will do so tonight. The information screen lights up like a christmas tree, reading reduced power. Its the exactly the same as it acted when the TPS was unpluged. Its very unmistakable as soon as it fires up it idles at 2k RPM and when you hit the gas pedal theres no response. I'm 99% sure its the TPS but dont know if I can just replace the plug or what.
1st check to see if the throttle blade is slightly opened--with the key ON and engine not running !! It is supposed to be if working correctly cause a C5 has no IAC----
Could someone please identify the first 2 codes listed below and tell me exactly what the 1516 code means. All codes PCM.
0120
0220
1516 Command vs Actual Throtle Position Performance(TAC Module)
Evidently the code list I have is for a different year it doesnt even have the first 2 listed above. If someone has a full code list for a 2004 ZO6 that would be even better. Thanks in advance.
type the code in the "FIND" box, enlarge the % to view
I assume you already have, but you did clear the codes and they do reappear?
Halltech screen goes in the MAF, why was the TPS unplugged, was other maint. performed?
C5's like to "EAT" the harness on the aft LHS fuel rail/firewall protector bracket(but this was more of an early C5 issue), and let's keep things simple here, the problem started when you installed the HT MAF screen.....

Thanks Steve. I installed VR powerduct Stated getting lean codes, installed the Halltech screen and this problem started. I found the appropriate code list.
0120-Throtle/pedal position sensor/switch "A" circuit
0220-Throtle position sensor circuit
1516-mentioned above.
I'm sure there all related but I'm not Tech enough to know by the codes, what the exact problem is. As you know the VR PD relocates the MAF up to the TB.
