I tried to do a search but didn't find anything. I just bought some c^ seats I'm going to put in my C5 and I know there are some wiring differences to get the seat functions to work properly. Also wondering if there is a way to get the heating part on the C6 seats to work. Any info on these issues would be appreciated.
I've seen it some where and just can't seem to find it. Got a pretty good deal for a set out of an 07 Z06 so now I just need to find out how to do the wiring.
Thanks Black out for the links. Not sure if the first one was a jab or not but google never crossed my mind honestly, but I still appreciate the help. You guys are great.
If your car doesn't have memory the wiring is pretty easy. I just got the wiring diagram for an 02 and one for the year C6 that the doner seats came from and figured it out. You can buy the C6 type of connector shell and pins from Mouser Electronics. You then just cut off the C5 switch connector, wire on the C6 connector, and plut it in.

I'm doing the same thing in my TR '99 FRC. Bought a set of '07 Z06 seats and am going to convert them to '12 configuration. If you look on the C6 board there are several threads about that. You need to mount the C6 seats on the C5 bases, and some have spliced the C6 seat controls into the C5 harness (see above). Search here and on the C6 General Board. I've collected all the parts (seats, extra bases, etc.). PartsTaxi on the C6 board has the OEM upholstery kits for sale. I'm going with black leather, black alcantara centers and red stitching. SEARCH is your friend.

Thanks,

Honestly, it was a helpful jab
There are so many "Google Bots" crawling around this forum that you can search for anything in Google and as long as you type "corvette" somewhere in the search bar too you will get several links to this site...
