ac belt
I've been doing some research on my cold start belt chirping and was just wondering if you think i just need to change the ac belt.. i thought it might have been my harmonic balancer but would that be it if the noise stops once it warms up

I had a similar problem upon startup. I was able to isolate it to one of the two A/C idler pulleys by using a 3' piece of plastic tubing against my ear and pointing it at every pulley in the engine compartment. After pulling the offending idler, the roller bearing seems to have some slop in it and rattled a bit. The new one is tight.
I'd suggest some investigation if you can easily reproduce the problem.
