I've searched the posts and read many of them, but want to verify what everyone thinks. My passenger headlight would not come up the other night. After several trys it did pop open. When I shut the car down for the night, the light closed alright but there was the sound of the headlight motor still running for a several seconds after it had closed. 2 questions:
-Is this the need to replace the gear issue??
-Does the entire light assembly have to be removed from the car to complete this gear or motor change if that is what you think it might be?
I removed the whole assembly as I know my luck if I tried to do it in the car I would drop something and end up removing it anyway
not sure if the 2000 still have the 3 screws holding the cover on like the 99's but I am sure you saw the DIY sticky in C5 tech where I and others posted the rebuild procedure and pics...
