Cops in my "Hood" might have an issue with this. Not to mention haveing you legs hanging out in the street.

Working on your car in the street is frowned on in some places. Why not get some race ramps or a low profile jack and get out of the road?

I'll just keep jacking my car up in the garage, thanks!

Hicksville NY?

With that set up you'd fit in real well in this neck of the woods.

I'll bet pedestrians/kids trying to use the sidewalk would appreciate your high tech idea...

RaceRamps, a low profile jack, jack stands and a garage. Didn't realize I was lucky.

My driveway doesn't have a slope like that, but it looks like a good solution. It is quick and easy to do with no jacking needed.

Looks like that front tire is not in the cradle. Wish my driveway was like that. Much easier than ramps and jack. Besides mine started rolling back when I jacked it up in the rear. Rolled right down the ramps and headed for the street because the jack has wheels and the rear was up so it kept rolling. I could not get the jack handle to turn to let it down while rolling. I was able to stop it with my weight and strength.

Yeah, it seems a little flimsy. I think I need a stiffer one.
