I have been reading and learning some about Corvettes. I have owned my Vette for a little over a month now and I love it. Last night with the help of reading a few posts on fixing the HVAC dimming issue posts, I was able to take care of that problem pretty easily. My question however, is whether the passenger temp actually works on Corvettes. My air works great even when the lights were dim. I thought maybe I wasn't seeing all the functions when the lights on the HVAC were dim. I see everything now perfectly. When I turn the passenger temp ****, the temperature is not different for the passenger. Its not really a problem for me, but I was wonder if the passenger temp adjustment **** is faux on Corvettes. My Vette is a '99 coupe btw. Thanks for any help.
The temperature displayed does not change when you rotate the passenger ****. The air temperature coming out of the passenger side should change a few degrees when you turn it up or down, but not the display. The air temp will not change if you have the temp set all the way up or all the way down on the driver's side (per the owner's manual). If the passenger **** is in the center position, the air temp on that side should match the driver's displayed temp
