I have one in my C5 Convertible.... Same as the ZO6. Katech has a special conversion kit, mine was the prototype. Great holding power, stock feel......
Thank you. It's kind of pricey at almost $2K but I guess worth it?
A C6 Z06 clutch is less than $500. Curious if anybody else has experience with the C6 Z06 clutch used in C5 Z06 for track duty.

yikes, for that much you could get a nice twin disc or something like that... i don't think it would be worth 2k honestly

It really IS the best of both worlds. It really has a ton more holding power than my factory clutch or the C5 ZO6 system i put in there. I thought that would hold fine, but quick, hard shifts would still cause clutch slip. I can't say about track duty, but my dad has a 2008 C6 ZO6 and I'm replacing it with the ZR1 System. I supercharged it, and the stock clutch isn't cutting it anymore. The twin disk setup really has a bunch more holding power, and neither of us wants to have to do leg squats to drive it. Oh, and once you've converted it, the replacement PP and Disks are fairly inexpensive for subsequent swaps.....

oh ok, well that makes sense then... in your post above you said it was the same as a z06 (i assumed a c6 z06) which isn't a twin, i must have misunderstood

Actually, I said I was replacing a C6 ZO6 clutch with a ZR1 clutch, but I see where you're coming from!
(I see what you thought now..... actually I was saying that the C5 convertible has the same clutch system as the C5 ZO6) I edited it to be more clear......

yeah i was a little confused haha... so how much power will those hold?... it could be a good setup to go with due to the cheaper pressure plate/disc swaps as you mentioned since you're buying oem stuff and they are probably more readily available
