Default Installing H/C setup. Have a couple questions during assembly

Hey guys, I'm installing my heads and cam setup in my 2003 Z06 and had a few quick questions.

First, when installing the lifters (LS7) are they suppose to be oriented any certain way? I noticed the oiling hole on them but it appears that the oil gallery that they are installed in will accomodate them being installed either way? Also, do the lifter trays get installed in a certain direction?

Second, I ordered two new head gaskets and they are not the "graphite" style that originally came on the car it doesn't appear. They are a steel sheet multi layered looking gasket, kind of like the Cometics. They also seem to be the same gasket for both Right and Left side of the motor. The only label on them is "Front". Are they universal? Or are they side specific?

Lastly, When installing the head bolts, they are new GM bolts. They have an red/orange loctite (I think) on them from the factory. I was under the impression that they needed to be coated in motor oil, or ARP assembly lube when installing them? Is this correct? Or do I install them dry with just the loctite that is already on there?

Thanks guys!

The head gaskets are the same and the gaskets you have are what they call MLS head gaskets and are much better than the original graphite ones. As for your other questions I'll let someone answer them lol

Thanks man. So as long as the "Front" label is towards the front, then I'll be good?
