97 blackwing install directions!
Ok...I know its somewhere been posted on here but there are so many and Ive seen the 2001 install but not the install for a 97. Is it the same?? As you know Donaldson does not send any directions in the box so I need some help. Does anyone have them or can help me out on this???? you can email me at x1ital1x@aol.com or a point in the right direction as to where to get them on this site would work too.....thanks alot for your help!

I am pretty sure the install is exactly the same. The only difference is that the 2001 and up C5's need an extra collar to make everything fit.

Actually i hear theres an adaptor for 2001s to make it fit but not for earlier c5s...Anyone think that the install for the blackwing presented on this site would work for my 97 or should I keep looking?

Should work fine for your 97. The adapter is necessary due to Corvette changes in 2001 (wider diameter opening). Check these instructions out: http://www.c5forum.com/diy/donaldson.php
