I am getting intermittant sputtering from my new Borlas. Is that normal for a new exhaust? Maybe the computer isnt sending enough fuel thru the injectors. Anybody else experience this?-thanks
What do you mean by "sputtering?" I think I hear a lot more of my engine combustion sounds, like burbling and popping a bit on decel, but I like that. I don't know about any sputtering.
If you mean your engine is missing, I don't see how it could have anything to do with your Borlas. Maybe a spark plug wire worked loose during the install??
I never had that with mine...definitely get it checked out at the dealer after you have checked to make sure everything is tight in the engine bay yourself. How was the Stinger install? Did you have any problems with getting the tips to line up? I miss my vette! Its only been a week- I can't wait to get back to Florida to drive her again.
Thats funny about the sputtering because mine did it this morning. I looked down and saw I was close to EMPTY so I headed to the nearest gas station and threw $10 in 93 octane. Took it out on the highway and blew it out. Problem is gone. I either was just about out of gas or maybe had water in the tank. It reminded me of running out of gas. It does make a strange noise though.
It's not the exhaust, but something else......the exhaust just megaphones all of your engines noises......so now you can actually hear them....
I was thinking the same thing. It could have been always there and I never heard it before. It's intermittant and seems to get worse when the car heats up. Could be an engine miss or something.
That sucks Brad but I am sure there is a very simple fix to it.Where are you going to bring it to get checked out? Oh mod fever is a beautiful thing
