My vette is getting up there in mileage... 145K
The right window was making some funky noise rolling down. The next time I rolled it down it got stuck there. I was finally able to pull it up while pressing the button. The motor seems to work fine... there is just some kind of hang up. Can yall fill me in on what the dealio is???
THANKS!!!

Time for a new regulator. The motor and regulator come as one assembly. I just replaced my drivers side last weekend in about an hour and a half. A new Delco one can be bought for between $140-$180. There are videos online that show you the step by step procedure. Not a hard job at all.

I also seem to recall reading that the generic Auto Zone store brand motor/regulator is about half the cost of the Delco one and it works just as well.
I'm thinking my passenger side needs replacement as the window is stuck, fortunately, in the up position.

There is a generic regulator. I've not used one so frankly I don't know if I can recommend it or not. I did see a post last week where someone mentioned they weren't so great and to stick with a GM part.
Here is the generic: http://www.dependable-autoparts.com/...Regulator.html
For real OEM: Gene Culley at www.gmpartshouse.com
When I replaced the passenger side on my '99, I went with the OEM from Gene and happy with it all the way.

Slowbrah, I can read my PMs but for some unknown reason I can'f respond to them, so I am replying to your question here.
They are put in the car carrier chain slot with a quarter turn to raise the vette or BMW on to keep from jacking on the underside of the body. There are four slots for that. when finished, 1/4 turn and they are out and back in your trunk.
Small flat rate box shipping will be 5.50. I will mark the eye bolts and remove them so to fit small flat rate box. They are made in my little shop. Pictures are new to me but I will try to insert them in the ad, also try to email to you. I would not leave them in permanently for fear of snagging them on a speed bump of other such object and rip them off the vehicle and damage the vehicle in the process. Thank you Kindly sir.

After much aggravated trying, I got into my PMs for your message about only two Pucks. I can not get out with a PM response. I have asked in my post to email me because of the problem with PMs. The Jacking Pucks only are sold in sets of four Pucks. Thank you kindly sir. Please communicate VIA emaqil.
