Kewlbrz, I still need to check my pushrods after a missed shift last year! Question, are you saying that there is no lash adjustment on the Ls-1? That the correct lash is built into the engine and you just have to torque down the rocker assembly to acheive the correct valve lash?

Yes, they all just torque to 22 lb ft.
You can just bump the engine over as needed to release pressure on the springs that are comrpessed to get them torqued. Just keep bumping the engine over (coil pack harnesses disconnected) a few times, and rechceck torque settings.
Thats interesting that it was the same one. How bad did it look? Did that get you all fixed up?
I was just bowed a little. I didn't make the misfire go away though :nonod:
I replaced the #7 MSD wire that looked like it got a little burnt with the stock wire and that didn't hellp either. I also pulled the #5 plug to see if it was fouled and it was not.
I might not have gotted the #7 wire on all the way (grasping at straws now) because of it's hard to reach possition.
I'm on my way out now to recheck all the pulg wires & maybe pull the rest of the plugs.
