"Service active handling Soon"
Tonight while driving home the chimes and DIC started flashing "service active handling soon" stopped foe some fuel and when I turned her back on the message went away and the dash light a/h went out ! everything normal!? ...SHOULD I run it down to the dealer?,,,,I suspect humidity and rain mat have triggered it. aprreciate you experts on this!! :chevy

Codes???...A 1288 code on a 2001-02 is somewhat common,and there is an ABS calibration update to fix...The recalibration opens up a bigger window to compensate for potential voltage spikes from the steering position sensor :crazy: If that is the code you have of course ;)
