Default Tire Question???

Whats up guys, Im currently running 265/40/17 fronts and 295/35/18 rears "Factory Size" on my Z06 right now, But Im thinking I want to go with a 315 out back. My problem is that my buddy has a brand new set of 315/30/18's I was gonna buy from him on the cheap but I dont know how the 40 front wall would look with the 30 rear? What do you guys think?... I would like to keep my fronts the way they are with a 315 out back but its hard as hell to find a 35 rear sidewall in a 315... I know I could get a 305 in a 35 with no problem, but I dont want to pass up this deal on his 315's....What should I do? ANY PICS OF THAT SETUP WOULD BE GREAT

Sorry for the boring write up!!!

another thing to consider is the overall diameter of the tire... if its too close to the size of the front tire then it could cause your traction control to go haywire

295*35% = 103.25mm (4.06 inches)
315*30% = 94.50mm (3.72 inches)
265*40% = 106.00mm (4.17 inches)

It would probably look fine.... But,

You'd end up with 25.44 inches in the back and 25.34 in the front. Traction control would not like that. The rears need to be at least .5 inches taller.
