X-pipe is great, eliminates resonation and gives a more throaty sound. After much research I'm going with the Bassini. There is a sound clip that was put on here a few days back by '2001C5', without cats. it's awsome!

hey! i was told that the Bassani x pipe was a good choice. the stock x pipe has a hole torched through the middle about the size of a quarter. not too useful, the bassani looks great and adds hp also!

Actually, the X pipe won't do much for horsepower gains. Stock is an H pipe. The X pipe will help to minimize the popping sound of the exhaust during deceleration which comes from the firing order of the 90 degree V8 left and right banks. The X pipe does this by balancing out the left and right bank pressures utilizing the larger crossover. You will likely not see more than about 1-2 HP gain with the Xpipe. Nevertheless, it is worthwhile. The finish of the Bassani is better than the Corsa. But it cost more. Each will do the task fine. By the way, WELCOME TO THE FORUM!!! :seeya

The x-pipe really toned down the popping I was getting with my aftermarket Corsa Indy's... It really mellowed out the tone also... Do it! :yesnod:
