Exhaust rattle on trunk
Alright so before everyone jumps on me for not searching - I did. My issue is when I'm accelerating, cruising, or decel my exhaust is rattling against the lower storage compartment of the trunk. I have American Racing headers and an XS Power Catback.
The pipe that exits the muffler and leads into the tips is the part that's hitting it. While I was under there installing it I noticed the springs on my mid pipes were kind of rusty and worn.
From the searches that I've done it seems replacing the springs on the hanger, or adding in a spring to connect the two current ones fixes the rattle that people have, but I haven't been able to find someone with the exact issue I'm having.
Anyone else ever had the issue I'm currently having? If so, what fixed it for you?
