help finding hose 97 or 98 only

My egr vacuum switch has this hose on it and I cannot figure out if it goes to anything. The hose has the white golf tee in it. The switch is located under driver fuel rail cover close to firewall. THe switch is pulled out so it is easier to tell what it looks like. The picture is also upside down and not sure how to fix that.

It does help. The hose goes to no where. It just seemed odd although me and two other guys could not find where it went
