Default Help! Remove gas pedal pivot pin

How does it come out? Is there a spring clip or what? Could not find info on search , though it is likely out there somewhere.
Direction will be much appreciated.

Default Thanks so much Hotwheels 57

These instructions are perfect . Mine may not be supplied with the shoulder bolt , but I'm sure Ace will have an SS 3/16 SAE. Reinstalling a press fit in that area could be a struggle.

I recently replaced my gas pedal with an aluminum one and the install is a PITA because you are working blind. The spring has two ends. The single side that is up against the inside of the gas pedal and the side that has an "open box" end that looks over the gas pedal's "rod." The key is to get the "bolt" that has a groove for the spring to sit in to engage the spring after you push it through the pedal. Try the fit before you lay down and contort your body to get down into the "pedal well."

On the second time I tried it, I found if you do not attach the pedal lever end of spring at least you're not fighting the tension. A piece of tape holding the spring on the backside of the pedal in place while you insert the bolt may also be helpful.

Once the bolt is fully inserted, then attach the loose spring end to the pedal lever. It'll make more sense when you're doing it.

I also found using a mirror helped. I laid one of the floor to reflect the back side of the pedal/lever.
I think I have learned enough from all of you folks to gitter done !
