front end too low
Hello. Just upgraded my 86 to a 99 hardtop. Love the beast, but the front seems very low compared to other 99's I've looked at. Is the front height adjustable, like the c4 rears, or did the previous owner lower it?

Yes, there are ride height adjusters in the front & rear of all the C/5's.
Here is a picture of both the front & rear adjusters.

These are the stock GM adjusters.
The rear adjuster bolt is on the left.
The front adjuster is on the right.
Here are after market adjusters to get the C/5's lower than the stock GM adjusters will allow.
The rear adjuster bolts are longer than stock.
The front adjuster bolts, have no thick rubber bushings, like the stock adjusters do.

It's possible the spring is damaged, especially if the front is hanging low while the back appears to be the stock height. You should check the spring for cracks and splinters splitting off it.
