need some recommendations for struts for my '03. it is a daily driver so i don't need anything expensive or outrageous.

How about shock absorbers? Many people go with C6 Z06 shocks.

There are basically two choices. Either the C6Z shocks (typically $250 a set), or Bilsten Sports (~$300/set) for a bit more. The Bilsteins will last longer than the OE shocks, so it's a pay me now or pay me later.
