6 speed to auto trans conversion
Are there vendors on this site that can do this conversion?
Already have too much invested to sell without a loss to get a C% auto vert.
2000 vert; somewhat tired of shifting.
Thank you.

So your going to spend thousands and hack up your car in order not to take a loss selling it?

It's a valid question, how about your useless post here?

Before you take this on, consider the additional costs to do this conversion and do it right. You have to be way ahead of the game from a money standpoint, if you sold your car at a reasonable selling price and bought another convertible with an automatic from the factory.

It may be a valid question but, your delivery (like 95% of your posts) comes off like a very pompus know-it-all. (and I'm being polite).

Trade your manual drive train with someone for an auto drive train. I'm doing this swap right now, but I'm doing most of the work myself.
ECS can do the swap for you. It's not that much money in the big picture of getting what you want.

If you were in Texas, I'd be all over for the swap. My A4 is getting boring. I thought I would like it, but I don't. I tend to drive my Camaro more......

Will you do mine?
I read your thread and very good write up.
RPM gave me a fare price but will have to be this winters project. The price of going fast just keeps getting higher and higher.

The newer GM 6-speed automatic should be worth considering, especially if you're going to do all that work required for a conversion.
My 2010 Silverado is equipped a GM 6-speed automatic. It definitely makes a huge improvement over the outdated 4L60 series transmission.
