I purchased a set of those front spoiler savers from Eklers over two months ago. Unfortunately I just got around to installing them last Saturday. I remove the right front spoiler but could not get the spoiler savers to match up with the drill holes in the spoiler and car body. No way I was able to get these to fit without drilling new holes which I would not do.
My vette doesn't seems to have been modified, though I don't know for sure since I bought it used. I believe the spoilers are the origin stock.
I contacted Eklers, since the sale is over 60 days they would not let me return them even for a credit on another purchase.
I think these are just the wrong size put in the bag. The part number on the outside is correct.
Nothing I expect anybody to do here just venting. I guess I have to eat the $20.00

The plastic spoiler savers are too small. I cannot drill them to match the holes in the spoiler and body. I can only make them fit, at least for two of the the three holes. by drilling and tapping two new holes. The price of new spoilers is about $20 per side so I may just go that way in the future and use some over-sized washers.
This is the plastic part that goes under the side spoiler? I put a set on my car years ago and they lined up perfectly. I doubt the mold has been changed since I bought them.

Mine came from Zip but that part looks the same no matter who is selling them. They tie the bolts together so you're less likely to rip one of the bolts from the bumper cover. Those spoilers also start to look like crap all saggy and it takes the sag out of them and makes them look nice and square again.
My set, also from Ekler's, fit correctly and made the car look much better, since stuff was starting to sag up front. They stayed on the job for a good while, my car is lowered and my town controls speed with severe dips, a souvenir from the muscle car days and late night drags all over town.
Now I just have the scraps in place. Some broken helper parts, and some salvaged tabs from older air dams are now on the job. I might even have some scrap protractor or ruler parts i there, I forget if I used them , but I did have some at hand if needed. The trick, of course , is to reinforce the attaching material, but not make it so that it tears up the car when it is pulled loose.
It can get confusing under there, I had to look twice a couple of times to figure the configuration. if the car is stock, the problem is with the installer. No need to drill for such a trivial part, in any event.
