Default Clutch decision??

In search for a clutch that is streetable and still handle close to 1000 HP for my 99 TT c5. Kinda looking into the MCloed twin disk but haven't really heard much about them. Any suggestions?

Oh, I get that, believe me. But I'm now on my 4th clutch in the 01- went with the RPS carbon street dual while the driveline is out- and changing cluches is a bear on these. I have STS turbo setup and more boost in future so upgraded now rather than later.
The full carbon dual is~$2000 and may suffice. Carolina clutch has the best deals. I bought directly.
At 1000hp, it's pay now or pay later.Sure you can get something cheaper to handle it, but it wont be nearly as streetable.
Call RPS, think you'll be impressed, as I was.

McLeod Twin disk.

I went with the RST for my cute little NA HP, but the RXT will hold 1000.

I LOVE the clutch. I've had several high dollar single disks that were roughly the same price. This is my favorite clutch so far.

On the mcloed , did you have to put a shim behind the slave cylinder?

It's possible. I measured and didn't need one.
It takes 5 min to measure, and you'll feel good about it for the rest of the life of the clutch. You should always measure.
