04 Fuel Tank Removal

I plan on dropping my fuel tank this weekend, on my 04 FFS fuel system, to change the fuel sending unit. I wanted to get some input or any advice before hand. So any helpful hints or tips are greatly appreciated. For the record I have a P0463 code and have tried every fuel cleaner 47 different ways with no results. So I am going to check all connections, if not fixed, drop tanks and make sure proper connection of fingers to the card. If still no fix then replacing the unit.

Fuel sending unit

Im having the Same problem on my 2000 vette The guage only works to 3/4 tank and then im blind. I ran out of fuel already, so i just cant keep ignoring it. I need to know were to start!!

Techron or Seafoam has fixed a whole lot of cars with this problem and not only corvettes!

If techron fixes the problem you can run Chevron fuel as it contains techron. My vert is 8 years old and has never had a problem and has only had Chevron in the tanks.

Fuel pump repairs and upgrades can be a challenge on late 2003+ Vettes.
