Default Replacing 98 C5 rear transverse spring

Anyone had the occassion to have the rear transverse spring replaced in their C5. Over my head in terms of do it yourself, and I wanted to know a ballpark figure for having it done at a shop (not the chevy dealer of course). Thanks

If you have a jack and some stands, it is a fairly simple job. I just changed out my shocks and springs for coil overs and did the whole thing in an easy work day. You do not need a lift. Put the car up on stands, pull the wheels and you are in business. I'm 74 years old, so it didn't require a lot of effort. There are numerous write ups on here and no special tools are required.

It's very, very easy. If you have even basic tools and a jack, you can do this.
