Finally got my headers from stainlessworks (www.stainlessworks.net). Hopefully ARE will be able to get me in on Monday the 27th for the install. Full 304 low carbon stainless construction, 1 3/4" primaries and less than $1K. Install is reported to be easy. I plan to do a before and after dyno to see the gains and will report the results. If they perform half as good as they look I'll be really happy. Stainlessworks manufactures headers for many of the top Corvette tuners.
You can get them at http://www.stainlessworks.net and I beleive the wait is 2 weeks or so. Can you imagine all the nitrous flowing through those bad boys!
Sweet headers... Are gonna get them JETHOT coated??? Keeps them looking clean without extreme discoloration and better heat transfer. http://www.jet-hot.com/home.html

I was going to suggest the same thing. They dont look coated
Re: Check out these Bad boys! Headers. (Untouchable00)
Well I contemplated the coating for a while. I came to the conclusion that if Mallet and Lingenfelter don't coat their headers why should I? While they may be beneficial for a mild steel header I think the stainless is durable enough on it's own. As far as heat retention I can't see how such a thin coating can make a significant difference in underhood temps. Can someone argue otherwise?
