Help, with clutch failure!
my clutch when down shifting mostly and on the occasional upshift will stay engaged when i remove my foot, the pedal will come all the way back, but the clutch you can feel is still in and the clutch loses all its stiffness for a few presses...then it is heavy???? The clutch is stock and only has 23,000 miles on it? What would cause the clutch to stay in and the pedal return with almost no pressure needed to press it in...i didn't smell anything or hear any noise, and even when semi engaged i could still press the clutch all the way down (only a few inches) and shift gears again, its happened a few times in the past week , but a bunch of times tonight? could it be the return spring or do i need to replace the entire clutch? :confused:
