My car went into protect mode so I unplug my battery for 10 min everything came back. The only issue is I had long tubes, x pipe, billy boat exhaust installed with a custom tune a month ago and it sounded great and shifted hard. The car is way quieter now and doesn't shift as hard will my tune come back. ? I tried unplugging fuse 16 and 23 for idle relearn just a little woried because she runs and sound stock now. Thanks
disconnecting the battery would not cause you to wipe out your tune, but why did car go into what you call protect mode never heard of that more info is needed
All c5 go into that mode when they detect a issue be lucky you havent seen that. My cig lighter fuse blew I guess he couldnt read english. The guy used a probe light in the fuse box to find the blown fuse. He must touched something the car didnt like, all my guages went crazy DIC showed protect mode. I unpluged my Battery for 10 min it reset the car it crank with no issue. I have Txp long tubes Txp X pipe and Billy boat exhaust with no cats it's way quieter now and doesnt shift as hard. The car drives like it lost it's tune but no other issue. Im wondering if the tune will come back or trip to the shop to retune. It was a beast after upgrades tune and dyno. Not now

No errors, car dives fine just not as louad and the shifts arent as firm. The car still has alot of power but just doesnt feel like it did after the tune.
I did the idle relearn car came back to life. I pulled fuse 16 and 23 drove it 40 miles still was acting weird next day I fired her up exhaust sounded different shifts were firmer as I took it for ride.
