Question: 160 Degree Thermostat
I have tested 2 new 160 degree thermostat's by placing them in water on a stove and checking the temperature with a cooking thermometer.
Neither thermostat started opening until temp. reached close to 180.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I don't want to put either of these thermostat's in my car.
Who makes a Thermostat I can trust.
I've heard SLP or Lingenfelter are good. Either of them will be my next call but I thought I would get your opinions.
