Default Tire Pressure

I have stock tires and rims on my 99. On the door panel it says correct tire pressure is 30 psi front and back. I have been putting in about 33 in the front tires and about 28 in the back tires. Tires seem to be wearing evenly. Does this sound right? Or am I wasting my time and 30 all the way around is just as good? Thanks for any advise.

Thank you. In my other cars it worked so I was doing the same with Vette. In past if I ran same pressure all around I would get outer wear in front and center wear in rear. Just replaced front tires and 4 wheel alignment, about $900. So I'm trying to get all I can out of them.

I have 19" all around and I do as you're doing. Start at 30psi and then adjust pressure for best wear. I have >35k miles on my rear PS2's. They are wearing fairly evenly and I run 27psi to 28psi cold in them. They're just getting to the wear bars now.
