Transmission Conversions?
So I'm very happy with my rebuilt a4 (especially with the new torque converter 
), however, I'm just about ready for the cam swap and I'm not sure how long that transmission will hold with 400+ crank horsepower while being a daily driver. So I'm curious what kind of conversions are available. I'm well aware of the T-56 
but I would like to stick to a stalled auto. Are there any straight forward bolt in conversions? 4L80E (Witch I believe requires cutting into the body for clearance witch isn't an issue for me).

The 4L60 should hold up with no issues. there are people with a lot more power than you driving around with them and a big stall.
Get a transmission cooler and you'll be fine.
