Electrical ugh
I spend the afternoon taking my passenger headlight out and replacing the nylon gear on the electric motor with a brass one. Got it back in and it goes up and down now ok.. There was only one wire harness to disconnect taking the headlight out - and to connect after replacing the headlight in the body ... but..
When I place the starter key in the first click over from off - I can turn the light **** to make the parking lights come on, turn **** to next click turn the headlights on - they both raise and work fine - turn the **** back off - lights go out and lower - everything seems normal.
However if I turn the starter key on over one more click from the first position - or if I start the engine then - headlights pop up and I can't lower them. ?
Making me think I have a problem with the starter switch maybe ??
Hoping some of you electrical gurus might have some good suggestions?

If you have the twight sentinel option, that might be the difference. To verify, go to the Options in the DIC and turn it off, if its there. Then try again.

Yes - thanks for reminding me!
Tried it this morning - outside of the garage and it works as it should!
