Well, I have to say that it was a freakin blast!!!! I got to run as much as I wanted. It was definitely different to sit behind the wheel and LEGALLY get to really see what the car could really do. I'll be going back again...and again.....and again. I made a total of 5 runs. A few were just pathetic (14.0@ 108 mph) but my best run was better, I lined up against a modded mustang.
Temp=58, alt=????(central AL)
R/T.....1.133 ( :sleep: )
60'......2.310(wheel spin spin spin)
330'....5.974
1/8.....8.886
mph....84.50
1000...11.291
1/4.....13.443
MPH....110.22

I'm going back for more practice next weekend (Heck, I might go back tomorrow). Only question is, do you think I could get to 12.9?? Only real performance mods are Vortex and Hurst.

Sounds like you are getting hooked. Not bad for the first time, it takes practice. With those temps and the Vortex, you should be able to get ito the 12's!

You should be able to get to the 12's with your current set-up....The key is to get your 60' time down, and I always ran my best times shifting at 6100 or so..........Good Luck
