PAC is a brand and 1218 is one of their models.

"Beehive" is not a brand, it's a style.

I went with the PAC 1518 springs. Same specs as the 1218s, but they are micro blasted and nitrited for higher reliability. A little more money, but I wanted a reliable spring so I don't have to mess with them again.

243 heads are factory on the LS6.

"Beehive valve springs" are a style of springs with a single coil like the factory springs. There are also "double springs" where there are two springs, one sitting inside the other.

PAC is the brand. There are many brands of "beehive" springs.

Here's PAC's website. Check it out and get familiar with valve springs.

PAC 1218 is a Direct Replacement.

This would be my choice if you are sticking with the factory LS6 cam.
