Front end rattle
Recently swapped out in Tremec tranny in my 98 C5. Replaced slave cylinder, pilot bearing, flywheel, etc. Also went with Centerforce dual friction clutch.
Since I had this work done, there is a loud rattle in the front end. Thought it might be a bad clutch. Took it to another mechanic with corvette background for test drive. He doesn't think it's a clutch issue at all. He checked the motor mounts, suspension, etc. Didn't have a lift available to dig any deeper at the time.
The noise gets louder as I steer left to right (at any speed).
Just wondering if anyone out there has experienced similar problem.
