Default need help on exhaust mod choice

Ok funds are kind of low so there are two alternatives I have been considering for better exhaust sound. The first would be the A&A mod. The second is the exhaust cutouts that I was discussing yesterday. I have heard Mpegs of the cutouts and they sound good, but I am worried that the computer didnt do it justice and the actual mod will make me deaf and not be able to hear the radio on the highway.

Can I have some opinions on positives and negs of each.

Its my guess that they are about the same price, one being easier to install and remove.

thanks :flag :flag

Most people seem happy with the A&A mod, altought is more, needs to installed by an exhaust shop (unless you can weld and are comfortable doing it) and its non-reversable. If I remeber correctly, the cutouts were like very cheap and just bolted on. You could try it first and see if you like it. If you don't, just resale them and get most of your money back, it would cost you next to nothing. Not sure how safe it is, no one mentioned Carbon Monoxide poisoning the other post.

I'm leaning towards the cut outs because their cheap, but are they blisteringly loud?

If you want a good sound, but don't want to break the bank, definitely go for the A&A. I had it for a year and loved it. I got a set of Indys for nothing and that is the only reason I no longer have the A&A mod.

Take a look at the MidAmerica cat back bolt on system. It is designed to sound like the Lake Pipe sound of the mid to late 60s. Cost is reasonable and it is reasonably quiet save for start and WOT.
