Tested my A-A Frame Savers yesterday...
I bolted them on the front frame a few months back and they had never touched anything - until yesterday. They are just bolted on through the holes I drilled, and not welded.
I was driving in a residential neighborhood behind another car when, at the last second, I see the car in front swerve. I thought a dog or something was in the street and only too late did I realize that he was avoiding a crater-sized pothole.
I nailed it at about 25 MPH and bounced the frame on the drivers side pretty hard it seemed. I drove it home and looked under the car. A little scuff on the frame just behind the frame saver "skateboard wheel" and the wheel itself was a little scuffed. I think it saved my air dam from getting nailed. Anyway, it seemed to take the abuse just fine. Just thought somebody out there would be interested. :)

Boy, that would make all the towing and flat-bedding that happens to my car go a LOT smoother and quicker if I didn't have to worry about the nose, air dam, and frames. :D

Brett I was thinking of making some sort of a tow hook that mounts behind the front license plate. Maybe some of you racer guys would be interested in that?
