See my sig. Latest round of mods put me a little over 400hp at the crank (given the 15% drivetrain loss) Keep in mind that my car came with the LS6 intake.
Crank hp doesn't matter. Go by rwhp. You can get to the 350rwhp mark fairly easily

I understand that... just meant how much would it take to be pushing that much power... and the drivetrain loss, is it only 15% like quoted in the other post? That's manual?

15% is the ballpark parasitic loss associated with the 6-speeds-- it's about 20% for auto's--
you need 340 RWHP to reach your goal-- Flywheel is irellevant to everyone exept people who know absolutely nothing about cars-- and the car magazines that cater to them:rolleyes:
If you're stock, you're prolly around 295-300RW now--
invest in an LS6 intake manifold, an air intake such as the Vortex or Blackwing, LT headers, and an aftermarket exhaust-- that should put you about where you want to be.
So in other words it's pretty stinking easy :D I've been looking for a c4 I liked for like a yr now, so much for that, I'm gonna go c5. I'll just have to wait longer.
Iceman_K spent like $2K on Cam, LS6 Intake, and Headers (stock exhaust), and Underdrive pulley and is putting down 377 RWHP.....he had only the Donaldson prior....
