Default Need help identifying this hose!

I took my K&N air filter off today to clean it and to clean the MAF housing.

When I did this I noticed that a hose was unattached and don't know if I pulled it loose when I took the air filter off or not....

Please let me know where this goes, there is a hole on the bottom of the filter that fits the hose ending but I don't know if it goes in there or not.

I can't drive until I figure this out. Its a 2002.

It's the AIR hose that goes into the hole in the bottom of the filter. There should be a plastic fitting on the end of that hose with a lip on it that will require a decent amount of force to push into or pull out of the filter. Seeing as you don't remember disconnecting the hose I'm guessing that fitting is missing? If it is it's probably still stuck to your stock air-box if you still have it.

If it's missing you can just shove the hose into the filter and duct tape it until you get new fitting or universal grommet from your favorite parts store...

That's what I thought.

There was a fitment on the end of the hose that pushes up into a hole on the bottom of the K&N filter.

Thanks for your help
